Lulu Gainsbourg imagines a long-term residency at the Café de la Danse: Lulu fans will be able to listen to her one evening a month until March 2019.
Lulu settles at the Café de la Danse for five exceptional concerts: November 26 – December 17 – January 21 – February 18 – March 25
Here is Lulu who comes back with a good idea of live that will please her fans who will be able to listen to her latest album T'es qui là in idyllic conditions. Lulu Gainsbourg offered us the album "T'es qui là ?", a few months ago, his first personal album in French, where he gives us his moods and his vision of love on titles like "Premier pas", "Salade composée" or "Jeux d'enfants". For two years, he composed and recorded between Paris, Normandy and New York. He met his muse, Lilou, who wrote his lyrics and took him to a light artistic universe with 60's, 70's sounds. It is in an intimate setting, at 5 bis rue de Verneuil, in Serge Gainsbourg's Parisian apartment, that Lulu puts her voice on poetic texts filled with irony. After the album, it's time for the stage, and it's at the Café de la Danse that it happens, for 5 exceptional evenings.
To see his latest music video Tequila:
The opus was recorded in New York, the piano and voices in his father's house rue de Verneuil in Paris and the choir of 25 children, present on three tracks, in Normandy. "Two songs were written in London, including 'Love is the key', the only one where I collaborated on the lyrics. It happened in our apartment when we came home from the evening. 'Tequila' is also inspired by a tequila tasting on the terrace of the Empire Casino in Leceister Square," says the artist. At once composer, performer and dreamer, Lulu Gainsbourg is an entire artist to discover on stage for five privileged appointments at the Café de la Danse in Paris from November 2018 to March 2019.
