They will do everything to be victorious, to win the challenges
Detective Pikachu is an adaptation of the video game of the same name created by Creatures and published by The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo 3DS. This spin-off of the Pokémon games was released in March 2018 in Europe and North America. The player embodies Pikachu and solves puzzles and police investigations. Upon the game's release in Japan in 2016, Warner Bros. entered into negotiations with Legendary Pictures to obtain the adaptation rights. Detective Pikachu will be the very first Pokémon movie to be shot live-action. Rob Letterman (Shark Gang, Goosebumps, the movie) directs this adaptation. Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith are the co-stars of the film. Kathryn Newton will play Lucy Stevens and Ken Watanabe is Inspector Yoshida, who is seen in the opening moments of the trailer.
The film is released in theaters on May 8, 2019. This leaves a little time to discover the video game behind the feature film.
