During their concert in Paris on November 2nd, Nothing But Thieves delivered us an incredible performance at the Bataclan! Here is the postponement that will prove it to you!

Since the release of their second album Broken Machine last year, Nothing But Thieves has never stopped on the road! And despite the multitude of concerts and festivals, the British created a surprise in September by unveiling their new EP What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way?. So when we knew that the group was passing through Paris on November 2nd at the Bataclan, we did not hesitate for a single second to take our place!

Deaf Havana: an irresistible first part!

We knew Deaf Havana briefly, but this concert at the Bataclan was the perfect opportunity to learn more about this band and especially to discover their new album Rituals live. Spoiler alert: We were not disappointed

Deaf Havana is an energetic band on stage who, despite the short time available, knew how to be in communion with an audience that knew very little or not at all! The British were particularly able to conquer us with Holy and Sinner ! Do not miss their concert at the Maroquinerie on March 12th, you will not regret it.

Nothing But Thieves dazzled us!

It's an almost sold-out Bataclan who was looking forward to Nothing But Thieves, so it was no surprise that as soon as they arrived on stage, the band was cheered by the many fans present in the room ! He began his set with I Was Just The Kid where we could see Conor Mason already handing the microphone to his audience who responded by singing in chorus. But above all, we saw a singer who held the note from the first title, a performance that impressed us and the other people in the room who applauded him enthusiastically.

Nothing But Thieves quickly followed with Ban All the Music where each of the musicians gave everything they could. While bassist Phil Blake and guitarist Dom Craik were close to drummer James Price, we could watch guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown admire his audience with a smile on their faces. A scene that proved to us that from the second title, the band was living one of its best concerts and so were we.

Conor briefly thanked his audience, and Nothing But Thieves continued his concert with the hit Wake Up Call which still gave way to many cheers. Before continuing their set, the singer said that they were all having a wonderful evening, that we were awesome and that we would continue the concert with a less electric song. It was Soda, a title where we once again witnessed a vocal prowess of Conor, all accompanied by an audience that sang in chorus the chorus.

The band quickly followed up with Broken Machine, then Conor claimed that the next track Take This Lonely Heart was taken from their new EP which had just been released. And despite its recent release, the audience present in the room that evening already knew it perfectly like the back of their hand!

Before starting I'm Not Made by Design, Nothing But Thieves asked us if we were doing well and if above all we were ready to have fun! During this title we saw the audience pogoting, having fun but also a complicity between the members of the group who were also having a good time. The conclusion of this title was a "Very Good Paris, thank you".

Conor then said that it was now time to dance and was waiting to see how we were swaying during Live Like Animals. And the result was far from disappointing since the whole pit jumped and danced ! After quickly thanking its fans, the band continued its set with the song Number 13 where the singer regularly handed the microphone to his audience who sang see shouted the lyrics!

Then came the moment when Conor confessed to us that tonight was wonderful and that it was the best show of the tour so far, while thanking us. After asking if it was their first concert tonight for some, Nothing But Thieves created a surprise by unveiling a piano version of Particles. We fell in love with a final instrumental led to perfection.

The set continued with If I Get High, a song highlighting even more the vocal power of singer Conor! This was also the moment when Nothing But Thieves asked that the venue sing for them, and they did and we could observe a proud band. They then performed Trip Switch and after saying a few words in French, Conor said that if we knew the next title we should not hesitate to dance. It was Forever and Ever More

After being once again acclaimed, Nothing But Thieves performed their iconic Sorry which was closed with a "Thank you so fucking much Paris" and they left the stage quickly. It was then that we witnessed a huge reminder worthy of the chants of supporters in a football stadium! When the band returned to the stage, they were delighted!

This encore was marked by the return of Afterlife on the setlist which was accompanied by shouts from the first notes! Then it was Itch's turn where we could observe Joe Langridge-Brown's solo executed to perfection at the front of the stage ! Conor thanked us again by adding "It was so fucking nice Paris" and that we were an amazing audience, but that it was also the best concert they had done in Europe so far. Then came the fateful moment when the singer announced that it was the last Amsterdam track, but gave us the promise that they would be back soon!

During this last title the whole Bataclan was standing, everyone was having fun and each member of the group invaded every corner of the stage giving everything. Nothing But Thieves ended his concert in apotheosis and did not forget to thank and greet his audience once again before leaving this time definitively the stage.

On this evening of November 2nd at the Bataclan, Nothing But Thieves exceeded all our expectations by offering us an excellent concert both on the composition of the setlist and their live performance.

This British band has nothing more to prove to us and yet it continues to dazzle us at each of their concerts. We will not miss their next date that we are already looking forward to.
