Hi comics offers for seven volumes a very faithful adaptation of the successful cartoon. The whole family has to deal with evil aliens, the daughter Summer discovers success in high school and Rick proves his failure in business by the sinking of the Mesozorick Park.

A problem family

From series to comics, Rick and Morty volume 7 The Smith family returns from their pathetic vacation. Father Jerry had the brilliant idea to propose a road trip to see the largest reel in the world. Not surprisingly, everyone hated it. Summer, the teenager in the family, regrets not being at the beach. Mother Beth didn't let go of her work cell phone. For her, horses are full of grace and compassion while her family is a bunch of selfish monsters. Besides, Grandpa Rick hates them so much that he has been replaced by a robot. A collective feud begins but is quickly stopped by the arrival of aliens, then by the death of Rick. All it takes is an explosive fight against the aliens to reconcile them.

A comedy of the read in more trashy

From series to comics, Rick and Morty volume 7 Nothing is taboo in this series. On a trip to another dimension, Summer discovers that Beth is a good mother thanks to a red wine allergy. This allows her daughter to be popular. She is therefore ready to do anything to stay… But still not to the point of liking girls. Michael is an alien whose job, but also uncontrollable passion, is to kill. Screenwriter Kyle Starks deliberately seeks to tackle consensual subjects to fuck them up. Rick founded Mesozorick Park by cloning dinosaurs. But the project fails when the investor has questions about animal rights. The two grandchildren witness, shocked, a copulation between tyrannosaurs. Rejected by a boyfriend, Summer falls in love with her space car. His parents are tolerant… to talk about it on Facebook. But as always in this series, the idyll goes wrong. Throughout the dialogues, we feel an obsession for the hindquarters: the aliens put probes there, Robot Rick has a deadly gas and a bomb, and giant Rick and Morty from another dimension eat from behind… In this seventh volume, the reader finds the tone of the series with a very successful irreverent humor. The dialogues make many cinematic references: Jurassic Park, the droogies of A Clockwork Orange… Hi comics offers short bonus stories that extend the laughter.
