Christopher Nolan used Fortnite, on the night of May 21 to 22, to unveil his new trailer. After Travis Scott's live concert on this same platform, it's the director's turn to use it to share the trailer of Tenet.
Action and science fiction at the rendezvous
After Interstellar, or Dunkirk, the English filmmaker promises with his new feature film. A budget of 200 million dollars, filming across 7 countries and a breathless story; A monumental production. We see in the trailer the actor John David Washington having a mission, he must prevent the third world war using reverse time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=149&v=Cg3lIFmZyC8&feature=emb_logo A film combining espionage à la James Bond or Mission Impossible, but also science fiction as we had the right to see in his film Inception. The trailer offers us images on which appear Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh and Elizabeth Debicki. We also see Clémence Poésy, a French woman who is used to international works since she has already played in the series Tunnel or in Harry Potter.
A well-kept secret
Nolan was able to keep a certain suspense on Tenet, and this until today. Even though we know the main lines of the film from the trailer, we can't wait to discover it in full. Scattered clues are not enough to fully define the subject. The suspense was kept even with the actors. Michael Caine explains in an interview for The Hindu that Christopher Nolan did not give him the script but only the pages where there were his scenes. Although he is in the cast, he does not know the whole subject of the film!
