From 18 to 23 January, the winter edition of the Brest festival Astropolis is held. There is still time to go for a walk. The programming promises a very beautiful journey.

Astropolis is the oldest French electronic music festival. For more than 20 years, at the end of July, the Sonics, the inseparable duo of organizers formed by Matthieu Guerre-Berthelot and Gildas Rioualen, have been bringing Brest to life to the rhythm of the musical diversity that the genre contains.Born from a rave in 1995, the festival is now held every summer in the wood of Keroual but also invades the city by taking possession, for a few days, of some emblematic places. Leaving the standard format of the music festival, it offers a host of events as fun as instructive while rubbing shoulders with great figures of electro and young talents.

Since 2012, at the beginning of the year, a winter version has warmed the Breton lands. The 5th edition has just started and runs until January 23rd.

Astropolis is the meeting of different parts of culture and the opening of electronic music to a wide audience. Between exhibitions, workshops, meetings, masterclasses and workshops for young audiences, the program is busy but of high quality. If the week is already busy, the weekend will be even busier since the major events are concentrated on January 22 and 23, day and night. Indeed, in addition to a vinyl market, an electro dinner and concerts, it is the programmed artists who, as every year, make the festival shine. Laurent Garnier, Levon Vincent, Tommy Four Seven, Carl Craig & Francesco Tristano, among others, will play, live or as a DJ Set.

Here are the details of the program of these few days of celebration:
