Netflix confirmed the information yesterday, Gilmore Girls will be part of the series of the platform 2016! Very good news for all fans of Stars Hollow and its inhabitants. For those who are not yet aware, it had been several weeks since Netflix was talking about a possible "revival" of the old series of Amy Sherman-Palladino broadcast between 2000 and 2007 on WB and The CW. Nothing was certain, however, because many rumors give the platform many projects. In the last two years alone, between reboot and original creations, Netflix has tried and seems to transform the trial every time! 
What can we expect from this new season? For the moment there is little information on the subject. The list of original actors who have already agreed to reprise their roles is quite large: Lauren Graham (Lorelei), Scott G. Patterson (Luke), Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Kelly Bishop (Emily, Rory's grandmother) for the principals. But also Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason) and Keiko Agena (Lane Kim, Rory's best friend).Melissa McCarthy, meanwhile, will unlikely resume service as a confirmed cook given the number of projects on which she is already requested. As for the format, a mini-series of 4 episodes of 90 minutes would be under discussion but nothing confirmed for now. Filming should start next week, maybe we will have the chance to know more at that time… Stay tuned!
