Even for the most homebody, the confinement announced since last Tuesday by the President of the Republic was a hard blow. But don't panic! For the most seasoned serivores, we have prepared a selection of series, which do good, which make you laugh and which will change your mind!
1 – Friends
To watch or re-re-keep, Friends already has a well-established community of fans. For those who do not know this cult series, make yourself comfortable, it will start! Friends is a comedy series first and foremost. We follow for no less than 10 seasons, a group of 6 young people in their twenties, in Manhattan, who each struggle in their own way to make their way into adult life. They find in each other the perfect antidote to the pressures that life can sometimes impose on us. Friends is a perfect mix against depression: we go from laughter, to tears, to surprise. And at the end of each episode, we always end up with a smile. We can only advise you! And above all, do not hesitate to watch and comment on this series with your friends thanks to the Netflix Party extension;)
2- New Girl
New girl is the story of a roommate (and yes still what do you want it is the perfect place ;)). And it's a sitcom that deserves to be better known. First by its casting where you can find the sparkling Zooey Deschanel who plays the role of Jessica Day, a bubbly teacher in her thirties. But above all by his fluid and intelligent writing. Back to the story: Jess returns home one day to find her boyfriend in the arms of another. What was supposed to happen happened, and she soon found herself moving into a Los Angeles loft with three men her age: Nick, Schmidt and Coach. After the pilot episode, Winston, a former roommate and childhood friend of Nick's, replaces Coach, who had moved out of the apartment to live with his girlfriend. This small and diverse group will allow Jess to quickly resume the course of her life and continue to regale us with her most null jokes. On the program: brilliant performers, drama, sweetness and of course humor in each episode!
3 – Younger
The strength of Younger lies above all in its scenario. Liza, in her forties, is trying to recover from a complicated divorce. While her daughter left home for her studies, it is time to take stock: while she was on her way to becoming a recognized publisher, she became pregnant and preferred to give up all hope of a career to take care of her daughter. She then decided to resume her career! Unfortunately all the doors are closed to him because of his age. So she decides to pretend to be 26 years old. Soon, the lie seeps into every area of her life – including love when she falls in love with her twenty-something boyfriend (Nico Tortorella). She will do everything to ensure that her different lives do not intersect, which gives rise to funny or even burlesque situations. Deliciously dramatic without ever being too serious, the writing is supported by strong bonds between the characters. Friendship, love, humor and lightness… Go for it!
4- Brooklyn Nine-Nine
The big positive point of the series is its main character: Lieutenant Jack Peralta (Andy Samberg). It is solar and completely out of step with the rest of its world. And that's what makes the burlesque of each episode. Brooklyn Nine-Nine tells the story of life in a Brooklyn police station where all the characters are colorful. The arrival of a new captain, cold and strict, very quickly forces the entire police station to adapt. Available on Netflix, the series already has 133 episodes for 7 seasons and each episode lasts 20 minutes, which gives it a dynamic rhythm. So if you want a series that mixes investigations and good humor, press play!
5- The good place
And the last series of this selection… The good place ! With 4 seasons on its clock, the series ended on January 30. And at JustFocus, we had a little trouble letting her go. This is THE perfect series for confinement. The characters all have very different and completely endearing personalities! But back to the origins: The good place is the story of Eleanor Shellstrop who, when she dies, mistakenly finds herself in what looks like paradise. But during her lifetime she was (and she knows) self-centered, aggressive, unsympathetic and backbiting. She is therefore convinced that she arrived there by mistake. Determined to stay there, she strives to become a better person. In this brand new world, she will make a group of friends who will make her see life (or rather death) from a completely different angle. To discover absolutely! There you go! You are ready to #restezchezvous armed with a selection of feel-good series! Good luck to all and above all: stay positive!
