We could never have imagined that the world would go like this. Recently, I wondered what I could do and what I should do. And then, I decided to do a live streaming on my Facebook page next Saturday at 20h (Japanese time). It will be a live concert.
I can only pray for everyone – my family, friends and all others who are suffering from this situation. Since I started singing as a KOKIA, I sincerely believe that singing can help lighten everyone's soul as much as my own. It may be difficult today for some people to enjoy music, but still, I would like to sing. If my voice and my actions can heal someone's heart and soften some minds, give courage to move forward, even if only a little bit, then it will all be worth it. I will also find this experience rewarding. I am sure of that.
It's a very difficult time for me, but I don't want to give up without doing anything. I love my music and my fans who have always supported me. So I want to make my voice heard. Give me a chance!
