According to one study, 52.2% of those surveyed will go to the cinema once the lockdown is lifted. The France has just entered its fourth week of confinement. And while the pandemic peak has still not been reached, the French are already considering the "post-confinement". The question is which activity will be most popular once the lockdown is lifted. To address this issue, a study was conducted at the end of March by the Vertigo Research group on a sample of 1,000 people. These are spectators representing the French population aged 15 and over who have been in theaters in the last 12 months. As such, 52.2% of respondents answered that they want to "see a film in the cinema" after the pandemic. This activity is just behind "going to a restaurant, having a drink in a café" which (obviously) won 79.2% of the vote. "Going to the cinema" is therefore the second most anticipated activity by the French as soon as the confinement is lifted. She is required to "practice physical activity freely" (49.3%), "go out to party" (41.7%), "attend a live show" (30.6%) or "watch sports programs on television" (14.9%). This study goes even further and proposes to detail its figures. Indeed, Vertigo Research highlights a "particularly strong appetite for cinema in cinemas" among "cinema regulars" (69.3% for regular and 71.8% for regulars, against 39.6% for casuals), "Parisians" (62.9% in Ile-de-France against 49.6% in the provinces), "15-24 years" (55.6%) and "50 years and +" (57.5%). Moreover, this appetite is particularly strong among 15-19 year olds (63.5%). Thus, even if we miss the dark rooms greatly, it is vital to stay at home to contribute to a lifting of confinement as quickly as possible. Come on, it's only part postponed…
