In this period of confinement, Netflix has become one of our greatest allies. The good news is that the catalogue is renewed regularly. This Friday, we welcome Love Wedding Repeat. Inspired by the French film Plan de Table by Christelle Raynal, this British-Italian feature film by Dean Craig plays on the endless possibilities that govern our daily lives. But a wedding is not a trivial day. Eleanor Tomlinson as Hayley is about to experience the happiest day of her life: her wedding. Very supported by her brother Jack, played by the famous Sam Claflin, (actor in The Hunter and the Ice Queen or Hunger Games) Hayley will quickly realize that everything does not always go as planned…

A surprise guest

Love Wedding Repeat is the comedy everyone needed. Light, funny, blunders multiply during this wedding, supposed to be as perfect as possible. Exs stuck in the past, lost opportunities, an unwanted guest… The perfect cocktail for a failed wedding. In this feature film, Dean Craig invites us to relax and laugh at the nonsense of others, not without reminding us of our own awkwardness in the most important moments. What worse nightmare than to see his "ex" tights arrive on his wedding day? Hayley will experience it, and her plan to remove him from the happiest day of his life will not take the hoped-for turn… and this 1000 times. Because yes, the director plays here with chance, possibilities, details. What if such a person had not sat here, but rather there? What if this guest hadn't uttered such a sentence? So many "what if…? ", so many wasted wedding days. But what if there was a happy ending?

Thousands of possibilities

The words he didn't dare to say, the things he shouldn't have done… Sometimes it's all about a detail. In this feature film, Dean Craig shows us how the story would have turned if this or that detail had been different. And the changes are sometimes staggering. Love Wedding Repeat is not only a film to make us laugh, it also allows us to realize that sometimes our luck is played by a thread. It pushes us to be ourselves, to believe in our dreams, and to go for it, whatever the cost. Review "Love. Wedding. Repeat." by Dean Craig: when things don't go as planned As the voice-over would say at the beginning of the film:

"A wise person said of love, 'We live in a universe ruled by chaos and chance, where it only takes a moment of bad luck for all our hopes and dreams to end in shit'."

Not very poetic certainly, but rather direct. Chance sometimes does things well, sometimes not. But among the thousands of possible scenarios, we still hope to see the happy ending scenario at the end of the film. Always. Released April 10 on Netflix, Love Wedding Repeat is a lighthearted, somewhat surprising comedy. Who knows, maybe chance will lead you to her?
