The Brooks unveil a single from their very funky album Anyday Now. The title Turn Up The Sound is to be discovered in video on JustFocus. The Brooks is an eight-piece collective from Montreal. They are all in high demand as session musicians, and started the band The Brooks as a tribute to the great funk influences of the 70s/80s. With a particular passion for Funkadelic, Maceo Parker, George Clinton, and Sly & the Family Stone. But The Brooks isn't content with revival. These gifted musicians draw on jazz, hip hop and rock, for a result that makes you dizzy. As can be seen with Turn Up The Sound.
