The entertainment of TF1 that has so passionate viewers (especially during confinement) will be adapted into a video game. Koh-Lanta is a game show where contestants end up on a desert island to survive in extreme conditions. Separated into two teams, and provided with the minimum subsistence, they will have to live together to ensure their survival, but also to triumph over the trials. The French publisher Microids announced Friday that the TF1 game will soon be adapted into a video game. This follows a publishing deal with Adventure Line Productions, the show's production. Last year Microids had bet on Fort Boyard for a video game.
"Microids and ALP sign a publishing agreement. Scheduled for 2021 in France, a Koh-Lanta adventure video game is in the works!" Microids said on Twitter, without elaborating.

Koh-Lanta: What type of video game?
Few clues have leaked about this video game. It is not known if it will be an "adventure video game". But it is easy to imagine having to embody a shipwrecked hero. How should we face our opponents on the Koh-Lanta trials? Business to follow… The game promises to relive the mythical tests of immunity and comfort, as well as daily life on the camp. A single player mode like multi will surely be available. It promises beautiful endings of friendships on the background of "you broke my arrow" or "I voted on merit".
"This new diversification for ALP was possible, because we were assured by Microids to find in this game the quality and the requirement that we put in the writing and the image of the program" Press release from Alexia Laroche-Joubert, the president of ALP.
Finally, according to Stéphane Longeard, the boss of Microids:
"The signing of the Koh-Lanta license is part of our editorial logic to offer families video-game adventures from universes with high potential, and capable of bringing together several generations."
So we just have to wait to discover the potential of this game! How about you? Are you looking forward to the beach and the events of Koh-Lanta?
