The French singer Clio, known in particular thanks to her album Déjà Venise, returns in October with a new song, accompanied by a clip.
Clio, a musical revelation
The young French Clio was a teacher before embarking on her beautiful musical career. Touching and endearing, two albums are already on her Curriculum Vitae. The first, Clio, released in 2016, contains 11 tracks of which Eric Rohmer died in duet with Fabrice Lucchini. A moving, sweet and poignant title at the same time. Three years later, Clio released her second album, Déjà Venise. Romantic relationships are at the center of his words. Listening to his songs one after the other, we can easily identify ourselves in these stories that seem so realistic and personal. During an interview on France 3 she said "I like to talk about the feelings that go through us and I try to talk about them in the most personal way possible." Clio is part of this generation of artists, free, expressive, mixing softness and emotions. His inspirations are Barbara and Alain Souchon, regulars of songs with texts, with the effigy of Clio.
"Have I lost the North?"
This new single, carried by the captivating voice of Clio, is in the same momentum as the previous titles. We immediately find the paw of this artist who mixes electric music and dance. Clio sings the story of a young girl who, by dint of strolling and wandering, seems to get lost. The clip perfectly represents the lyrics so melancholic and yet so sweet. The artist is in harmony with nature that we find in all its forms. The director of this clip, Isabelle Maurel, was able to express through images, the loneliness that seems to feel the girl. We see her alone throughout the clip in huge spaces, in front of the sea or in the forest. A clip released this Wednesday, October 9 and which announces the upcoming release of a third album, scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.
