After two first episodes that have taken aback fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), WandaVision continues its way on Disney +. On January 22, episode 3 of Jac Schaeffer's show was released on the platform. A new chapter that is in line with the first two episodes.

WandaVision: the transition to colour

Jac Schaeffer continues to pay homage to sitcoms, but this time, with the switch to color. WandaVision leaves black and white to jump back in time and thus join color. The previous episode ended with Wanda using her powers to create a colorful world, and thus change her tone. And this new episode offers a little boost. Jac Schaeffer slowly gets to the heart of the matter, slightly developing his main plot. The mystery of this alternate reality weighs more and more on the protagonists; Vision begins to ask questions ; the neighbors are getting weirder and weirder; and Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, is gaining prominence. The latter, already present as a child in Captain Marvel, will be a recurring character in the future of the MCU. And she will also be back in Captain Marvel 2. The end of the episode confirms to viewers that she works for the S.W.O.A.D, who closely monitors the protagonists. Review "WandaVision" episode 3: the first connections with the rest of the MCU This episode 3 offers the first twist. A grandiose and intriguing finale, which suggests that Wanda is in control of her powers and this reality. An interesting finale, which plunges the audience deeper into this strange atmosphere, in this ambitious writing. The Red Witch seeks to control everything, whether it's her husband or the various neighbors. And no one will go against his desires and denial.

The first connections with the rest of the MCU

This chapter 3 offers especially the first real connections with the rest of the MCU. While the show was quite discordant with the rest of the MCU, strange and unusual, Jac Schaeffer finally offers the first concrete connections with the rest of the Marvel universe. The series ties up with Avengers: Age of Ultron and offers the first reference to Pietro, Wanda's deceased brother. Finally, the MCU gives what fans of the genre want to see: connections to put them back in a known and safe universe. Finally, the show seems to take viewers to a broader identity, and takes importance compared to the rest of the connected universe. As for the mention of Pietro, it is perhaps not trivial, and possibly suggests his upcoming return to the show. If in the comics, these children are illusions created from scratch by the mutant, it remains to be seen if the series will take the same path or not. Maybe she'll use these two children to introduce Wiccan and Speed, Wanda's two real children, into the paper versions. It is even rumored that Evan Peters, the actor who plays Quicksilver in the X-Men saga, could appear in WandaVision, not as Pietro, but as Speed. Business to follow. In any case, this third episode of WandaVision is much better than the previous two. Finally Marvel gives us what we want to see, with five superb last minutes, which place all the atmosphere and plot of the show. First twist, first threat, first connections and interest is revived.  https://youtu.be/-NhosBGuRRc
