This fifth episode of WandaVision gets to the heart of the matter. In the continuity of the previous one, this new chapter develops new elements related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Wanda's intentions are clearer, Vision begins to emerge, and the final twist is expected but stunning. Focus:
WandaVision: the clash begins to begin
The primary interest of this new episode is the clarification of the situation. This chapter 5 clarifies Wanda's intentions, purpose, desires, and hauntings. The S.W.O.A.D progresses well in his investigation and realizes that this entire town, Westview, is controlled by The Red Witch. Viewers learn that Wanda is holding an entire city and its inhabitants hostage against their will. Thanks to Monica Rambeau's investigation, things evolve, which even pushes Wanda to leave the dome for a moment, to threaten the S.W.OR.D of all its power. A perfectly directed sequence, which reminds us how dangerous The Red Witch is. This episode 5 also confirms that Wanda controls all her reality. That it is also she who decides the editing of the various passages in sitcom. In short, she decides everything. Of what the spectators see, of what the S.W.O.A.D has access, and it even controls the thinking of Vision himself, who nevertheless begins to ask questions. The latter also tries to get out of the yoke of his wife, asks questions about his past, about his previous life, which suggests a future confrontation that promises to be explosive. This fifth chapter anchors WandaVision a little more in the rest of the MCU. The episode is full of references to the rest of the Marvel connected universe, and many clues are left for comic book readers. An episode that offers references to Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel or the X-Men. Monica Rambeau does not hesitate to recall that Wanda is the most powerful of the Avengers and almost killed Thanos single-handedly. 
The identity of Agnes, Wanda's cheerful neighbor, seems to be becoming clearer. Agnes, played by Kathryn Hahn, could be someone else. More and more evidence seems to confirm that Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch who was the nanny of Wanda and the son of Reed Richards and Jane Storm in the comics. Her knowledge of the environment, and her ability not to be surprised by Wanda's magic, strongly suggest that Agnes is also a witch. Finally, this week's episode concludes with an impressive twist. Quicksilver is back in the Marvel Universe. But instead of Aaron Taylor-Johnson reprising his role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jac Schaeffer decided to bring Evan Peters back into the character's shoes. The latter has played Quicksilver three times: in X-Men: Days of Future Past, in X-Men: Apocalypse and in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. This is the first official connection between the X-Men and the rest of the MCU.
A meaningful cameo
In addition to confirming the upcoming arrival of the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this return is fraught with meaning. Already, the fact that the protagonist is played by Evan Peters and not by Aaron Taylor-Johnson is not without consequence. This means that Wanda is gradually losing control of her reality. That it does not obey him with the finger and the eye. And given her reaction, she had not foreseen the return of Pietro, let alone with a different face.
