What is Soul about?
Joe Gardner, a jazz enthusiast, is a middle school music teacher. One day, an opportunity for him to realize his life's dream presents itself. Indeed, our Joe Gardner has the ambitious dream of playing in the best jazz club in New York. He touches it with his fingertips when suddenly, because of an unfortunate step, he finds himself in a fantastic place called the "Great Forward". It is a place, where souls gradually acquire their personality, their originality and their center of interest. In short, everything that will make them beings to be whole and distinctive. All this to be, subsequently, returned to Earth. There, Joe Gardner will do everything to return to his previous life. He allies himself with 22, a mischievous and mischievous soul to whom the interest of living a human life escapes him. Joe Gardner will try everything to convince 22 that human life is worth living. In this fabulous celestial journey, Joe may well discover the answers to the most important questions about the meaning of life.
