First of all, let's talk about the script, which, although not very original, was able to attract our attention. Indeed, the world of gangs has been particularly exploited in recent years, making it a theme far from unprecedented. However, we quickly realize that the main character of the series is not part of it. Indeed, befriended by King, the leader of the G-boys, Makoto, the main character, will lend them a hand in different affairs. In addition, we were immersed in the heart of the plot from the beginning of the episodes. Indeed, the rhythm of the episodes is correct and allowed us not to "get bored". No passage was too long. These first two episodes were able to arouse our curiosity by mixing action, violence and emotion. The only negative we could raise is the fact that the plot is resolved in a single episode. The rest of the events may be discussed in several episodes.
An atmosphere to discover!
Regarding the graphics, given the theme, black predominates in the first episode since a number of scenes take place at night. However, bright colors are also present and allow to appreciate the animation even more. The latter being fluid, the episodes are very pleasant to discover. The second episode is brighter. The characters are well represented, they are differentiable and it is possible to see different emotions on their faces. This allows you to soak up once again the atmosphere that reigns there. In addition, the soundtrack allowed us to appreciate even more the atmosphere of the series. Indeed, the music is adapted to the theme of the series. The mix between graphics and music allows you to dive deeper into the dark universe of the series. This novelty is one of our favorites of this new autumn season!
