Episode 7 of WandaVision is heavy in revelations and reversals of situation. For this new chapter, Jac Schaeffer fully anchors his series in the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) through elements that fans will recognize. MCU aficionados are back home. SPOILERS ALERT.
WandaVision : big twists in perspective
We are entering the home straight. While there are only two episodes left to conclude this first season, WandaVision has just entered its last quarter. Jac Schaeffer takes advantage of this episode 7 to advance his plot and reveal new elements to fans. The latter had also seen right on many theories, and had detected some twists of the show. But even if the latter are quite predictable, they have the merit of being perfectly executed. 
As fans had predicted, Agnes, the character played by Kathryn Hahn turns out to be another person. The latter has perfectly hidden its game since the beginning of the series. But Marvel fans know everything, and have an eye for detail. They had detected it, it's now official, Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness. The latter is a powerful witch of the Marvel universe, one of the oldest. In the comics, she is the mentor of The Red Witch, before being betrayed by the latter. But in the series, she seems to take another direction and is more akin to the main antagonist of the story. It's hard to know exactly what her involvement is, but she seems to manipulate Wanda and remains the latter's only counterweight to Westview. Once again, an expected twist, but rather well executed, which suggests heavy for the last two episodes.
Return to the MCU
This latest episode moves away from sitcom parodies a little to return to a more classic style, more rooted in the MCU. Jac Schaeffer is back in the connected world, applying the classic recipe. Reversals of situation, references, connections and characters that assert themselves. This is for example the case of Monica Rambeau, who begins to develop her powers. Indeed, in the comics, the latter was Captain Marvel (long before Carole Danvers), and also had other names. Among them, there is Spectrum, and many fans think that this protagonist will take this identity in the MCU. In any case, its transformation has begun. 
Note also the association between Vision and Darcy Lewis, which can surely lead to a fruitful alliance. Finally, Jac Schaeffer takes up the formula of the MCU by proposing a short post-credits scene. The latter brings Vif Argent back into the plot, absent from this episode 7. The latter seems to be in the service of Agatha Harkness. It is difficult to know if it is really Quicksilver, from the X-Men universe, or another character. It's hard to know if it's the mutant we know or just a magical manifestation of Agatha Harkness. Some theories claim that the latter is in possession of a Nexus to travel in time and space. This would justify the arrival of Vif Argent. Some believe that his grimoire is a Nexus that will be at the origin of all the upheavals of phase 4 of the MCU, especially in Spider-Man 3 and Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
