10.Kaiju No. 8
In 10th position, we find Kaiju N°8, by Matsumoto Naoya, which sold 4,345,443 copies. A good result when we know that this series, started in 2020 in Japan, 2021 in France, currently has only 8 volumes (including 4 released in 2022). The manga is available from Kazé.

Don't Call It Mystery is one of the novelties of this ranking. Indeed, last year, Tamura Yumi's series was in 19th place. It is therefore in 9th place this year with 3,140,861 copies sold. The series is available from noeve grafx.

8.Chainsaw Man
Fujimoto Tatsuki's Chainsaw Man saga has been talked about a lot this year, especially with the release of an anime. On the sales side, the series loses one place with 3,438,930 copies sold in 2022, against 5,212,578 copies in 2021. The manga is available from Kazé.

Whether you're a fan of manga, football, or just curious, you probably had to hear about this series. Indeed, Blue Lock caused a sensation, especially during the football world championship with the Japanese national team. This sports series, by Nomura Yusuke and Kaneshiro Muneyuki is in 7th place in 2022 (16th place in 2021) with 3,548,238 copies sold. The manga is available from Pika Edition.

Kingdom, by Hara Yasuhisa, also gained 3 places in this top oricon. In 9th place in 2021, it is now in 6th position. A well-deserved rise for this series, which sold 3,832,688 copies in 2022. However, although it is in a better position, it should still be noted that fewer copies were sold, compared to the year 2021 (4,672,612 copies). The series is available from Meian.

Horikoshi Kohei's My Hero Academia series remains in 5th place with 5,353,782 copies sold in 2022. This is almost 1.66 million fewer copies compared to 2021. The manga is available from Ki-oon.

One Piece, the famous series of Oda Eiichiro has also climbed in the ranking, going from 6th to 4th place. And unlike previous series, it increased its sales by 3 million copies. This is a total of 10,364,102 copies sold in 2022 for our captain with the straw hat. The series is available at Glénat.

Spy x Family, by Endo Tatsuya, is probably the series that has increased its sales the most in 1 year. Indeed, placed in 8th place in 2021 with 4,973,402 copies, it rises to 3rd place in 2022 and multiplies by more than 2 its sales with 10,600,571 copies sold! A well-deserved feat don't you think? The manga is available from Kurokawa.

2.Tokyo Revengers
Wakui Ken's Tokyo Revengers moved up a spot in the top Oricon, placing 2nd. However, despite having sold 11,048,067 copies, it lost more than half of its sales. Indeed, more than 24 million copies had been sold in 2021. The series is available at Glénat.

1.Jujutsu Kaisen
To finish this top 10 best-selling manga in Japan in 2022, we find again Jujutsu Kaisen, the very popular series of Akutami Gege. However, like the previous series, it lost half of its sales in 1 year, from 30,917,746 copies to 12,282,260 copies sold in 2022 . The manga is available from Ki-oon.
