YADAM, the singer revealed in the final of the Nouvelle Star in 2010, relaunches his EP Safeplace with an expanded version of two unreleased tracks. The Ep Deluxe will be released on all digital platforms on May 28, 2021 via distributor Ditto Music. We discover today on Justfocus one of the two titles, Nada Es Seguro, with a highly moving animated clip. "I'm afraid of sneezing and that suddenly you're not there, and when I wake up, I can't see you anymore, what's hard is that nothing is certain," he says during the chorus. A feeling of fear and vulnerability that brings to this title an eminently queer second reading, which the singer also assumes. It is these sudden separations that we all experience, that YADAM has experienced many times between his immigration journey and the search for his Parisian Safeplace. For the clip, and in support of the LGBT+ cause, YADAM chose as director the Argentine transgender artist Julieta Fernandez who made a 3D video, translating into an unusual black and white a dense, heavy and unstable atmosphere around an innocent love, surrounded by bubbles of tears that seem inconsolable. Nada Es Seguro is written and composed by YADAM, made with Max LUNEL, mixed by Chris Allen (RyX, Olafur Arnalds…). A new version "Safer Edition" of his EP continues the emergence of YADAM which also offers this year collaborations with Brokenstra ("Carrera"), Mosimann ("u&I"), Nilusi ("oneWayLove), and Jose Y El Toro ("TanCerca"). YADAM assumes his fragility, the child he is almost still, but demonstrates a real power, both vocal and charismatic, and a generous and disarming maturity; Treat yourself to a moment of sweetness with Nada Es Seguro, the clip of YADAM, properly disarming distress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_i25x6MI9k Official digital link
