Welcome to Just Focus. Today we present you a new video project entitled: Upper Cut. Our editors Aubin Bouillé and Alexandre Chadha have imagined this simple and playful idea: the opposition between two films that resemble each other, that complement each other but that oppose each other. And for this first episode what better than to highlight the similarities and differences between Tim Burton's Batman and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight?
Discover Upper Cut
Everything was born from the imagination of these two long-time editors at Just Focus. To highlight the flaws and especially the qualities of two feature films that are similar but are not identical. The concept comes in the form of a boxing match, where our two competitors earn points every time their arguments hit the mark. From round to round, one of the two participants gradually wins, which will determine which is the best film of the two presented during the video. Upper Cut also presents an original introduction, which is marked by the pleasant participation of Lucas Le Guilcher as presenter. The latter offers an inhabited performance in the role of this eccentric and motivated ring referee. This first episode focuses on the opposition between Batman and The Dark Knight. May the best win! https://youtu.be/jkZC5ax6Z7k Director: David Duchêne Editing: Alexandre Chadha and Aubin Bouillé Writing: Aubin Bouillé and Alexandre Chadha Production: Just Focus and La Plank Presentation: Lucas Le Guilcher With Aubin Bouillé, Alexandre Chadha and Lucas Le Guilcher On an original idea by Aubin Bouillé
