Disney + regularly relies on the recycling of old licenses or its classics. One of the next projects is the remake of Thirteen by the Dozen. Remember the 2003 comedy with one of America's greatest comedians, Steve Martin? In the new game, Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff are the new parents.

Thirteen to the Dozen, Disney+'s new original comedy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmTXmhkWme8 Is it a good idea to relaunch Thirteen to the Dozen with a new feature film? It's a great starting point to trust Zach Braff, a true reference in the world of American comedy since the excellent series Scrubs. It will be interesting to see him take on a new role for him. Manage a blended tribe of 14 children. What a challenge for all parents in the world… The evolution of society means that the film's star couple is mixed. Gabrielle Union, well known to Bad Boys fans, plays the role of the matriarch. Their cheerful tribe therefore includes children of different origins. The rest of the cast consists of Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo AbeloPerry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote and Luke Prael.

National Treasure: A spin-off series by Benjamin Gates

Yes, Disney does not forget any of its flagship licenses. They released one of their best licenses of the 2000s, Benjamin Gates. These films date from the time when Nicolas Cage was at the height of his fame. National Treasure, a new original series is one of the most attractive projects of the American platform that nibbles more and more market share of Netflix. The story of National Treasure focuses on Jess Morales (played by Lisette Alexis), a discerning young girl who investigates her mysterious family history. She is making the necessary efforts to find a Pan-American treasure that was thought to be lost forever. We have just learned that Catherine Zeta Jones joins the cast. A brilliant actress able to enhance any project with her skills. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the musical Chicago and also a tony award. She plays in the series a probable antagonist for the heroine of National Treasure. She is a businesswoman looking for the same object.

An Original Series on Disney + with a diverse cast: American born Chinese

An original project that features an enticing cast. We vote for… In American born chinese, we follow the adventures of a young Chinese teenager who spends his time with his friends and family. At the beginning of his school year, he meets a new student with whom he will be embarked on a hectic battle with Chinese gods. It is an adaptation of the graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang.  Here is the entire cast:

  • Jin Wang (Ben Wang) is an American teenager from Taiwan who struggles to identify who he is supposed to be, both socially and culturally.
  • Christine Wang (Yeo Yann Yann), Jin's mother, is a determined, opinionated and deadpan woman who deeply loves her family.
  • Simon Wang (Chin Han), Jin's father, is a hard-working man devoted to his family but who bumps into the "bamboo ceiling" professionally.
  • Wei-Chen (Jim Liu), Jin's best friend, is a teenager who has just arrived in the United States. He also hides his true identity under helpful exteriors.
  • Guanyin (Michelle Yeoh), Wei-Chen's aunt, helps her nephew find his feet in high school. The bodhisattva of compassion is actually hiding in the guise of this seemingly ordinary woman.
  • Freddy Wong (Ke Huy Quan), is one of the main characters of a famous sitcom of the mid-1990s.
  • Amelia (Sydney Taylor), Jin's classmate (and the girl he is in love with) is a likeable teenager, American to the core.
  • Sun Wukong (Daniel Wu) is the Monkey King, a legendary and all-powerful god straight out of Wu Cheng En's famous novel The Journey to the West. He came to look for his son in the human world.

Destiny Daniel Cretton is at the helm of this captivating series that will delight fans of comedy and adventure.
